SmartBank, headquartered in Knoxville, Tennessee, is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to lead external financial reporting, SEC compliance, and cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Tax, Treasury, Legal, and senior leadership. The role requires accuracy, integrity, and strategic insight in a growing financial institution.

You will manage quarterly and annual reporting processes, partner with auditors, and ensure disclosures comply with US GAAP, SEC rules, and evolving accounting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting, financial reporting, or related experience in banking/financial services.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Experience with external audits and regulatory examinations is valued.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly and annual reports on Forms 10-Q and 10-K.
• Coordinate with external counsel on proxy statements and 8-K filings.
• Prepare US GAAP and SEC disclosures and checklists.
• Support internal controls and external reporting procedures during filings.
