Job summary

Ladder is hiring a Senior Accountant - Financial Reporting for a remote role based in one of 23 states. The role reports to the Senior Director of Accounting Policy, Reporting and Functional Enablement and collaborates across Finance and external partners.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in financial reporting or public accounting, CPA certification, and strong Excel and US GAAP experience. The job supports a dynamic, fast-moving environment with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
• 3+ years of financial reporting, public accounting or audit experience.
• CPA required and US GAAP knowledge.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to work with large data sets.
• Experience preparing US GAAP financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly US GAAP reporting and disclosures.
• Prepare annual financial statements with workpapers.
• Assist with new accounting standards and implementations.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax teams.
• Maintain accounting controls and procedures.
• Support G/L and financial systems.
• Travel as needed.
