Job summary

Branch is hiring a Senior Accountant to join a small, high-performing team supporting financial close and reporting. You’ll help scale accounting operations, automate processes, and design controls across departments.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with finance, data, and treasury, enabling senior management decision-making. US GAAP expertise and strong Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience, fintech a plus
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and technical accounting
• Advanced Excel and data handling with large datasets

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and close support
• Research and maintain accounting principles and procedures to ensure US GAAP compliance
• Support internal controls and audit readiness with documentation
• Design and document processes, identify opportunities for automation
• Own accounting projects outside standard workflows and resolve gaps
• Partner cross-functionally to implement new systems and processes across accounting, finance, treasury, and data
