Job summary

Ladder is hiring a Senior Accountant – Financial Reporting to join the Finance team in a US‑focused role. The position reports to the Senior Director of Accounting Policy, Reporting & Functional Enablement and collaborates with finance, external parties, and internal stakeholders.

You will lead USGAAP monthly reporting, prepare annual statements, conduct research, review contracts, and support external audits. Occasional travel may be required in a fast‑moving environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• CPA or public‑accounting experience is required or preferred.
• 3+ years in financial reporting, audit, or public‑accounting environments.
• Advanced Excel with large data sets.
• Strong communication across audiences.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly USGAAP reporting and analysis, including budget vs. actual.
• Prepare annual financial statements with detailed workpapers.
• Research positions and implement new accounting standards.
• Review contracts and coordinate implementation with the team.
• Maintain accounting compliance and monitor USGAAP regulations, especially revenue recognition for insurance.
