Job summary

CDW is seeking a Senior Accountant - Financial Reporting to join our Finance team in the United States. You will research complex US GAAP and SEC accounting issues, assist with ASC 606 revenue recognition, and support quarterly and annual SEC filings (Form 10-Q/10-K) and related disclosures.

You will collaborate with Investor Relations, Treasury, Legal, and FP&A to document accounting positions, prepare internal reporting, and assist with purchase accounting for business combinations while

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
3+ years of public or corporate accounting experience.
Active CPA license.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP, ASC 606, and SEC requirements.
Proficient Excel and Microsoft Office
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Experience with Workiva, Hyperion, or Workday is a plus.

Responsibilities

Research US GAAP/SEC rules to resolve complex accounting issues.
Review material revenue contracts for ASC 606 recognition.
Prepare Form 10-Q and Form 10-K and file with the SEC; prepare footnotes and MD&A.
Coordinate with Investor Relations for earnings materials.
Prepare monthly internal reporting (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
Collaborate with IR, Treasury, Legal, FP&A, and Sales.
Assist with purchase accounting for business combinations (ASC 805).
Support external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits.
Maintain internal control documentation and policies.
