Job summary

CDW is seeking a Senior Accountant - Financial Reporting to join our Finance organization. You will research complex accounting and reporting issues, help implement new US GAAP standards and SEC rules, and support quarterly SEC filings and investor materials.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across Investor Relations, Treasury, Legal, and Finance to analyze complex deals and document accounting positions. A CPA and experience with ASC 606 are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of public/industry accounting experience.
• Active CPA license (required).
• Proficient knowledge of US GAAP (ASC 606) and SEC rules and requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with strong Excel experience.
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills with ability to interact with stakeholders.
• Continuous improvement mindset with experience driving efficiency and quality.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.
• Experience with Workiva, Hyperion, and Workday is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Research US GAAP/SEC rules and document accounting positions for complex issues.
• Review material revenue contracts to ensure ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Prepare Form 10-Q/10-K and file with the SEC, including footnote disclosures and MD&A.
• Collaborate with Investor Relations and other departments for material presentations.
• Prepare monthly internal reporting materials (income statement, balance sheet, cash flows).
• Support external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audit.
• Maintain internal controls documentation supporting accounting positions.
