Job summary

CDW is seeking a Senior Accountant - Financial Reporting to join its Finance team. You will research US GAAP and SEC rules, aid with ASC 606 revenue recognition, prepare SEC filings, and support external auditors.

You will collaborate across Investor Relations, Treasury, Legal, and FP&A to ensure accurate financial reporting. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 3+ years of accounting experience, and an active CPA license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent required.
• Active CPA license required.
• Public/industry accounting experience; Big 4 background a plus.
• Proficient knowledge of US GAAP (ASC 606 focus) and SEC rules.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication; able to interact with stakeholders.
• Continuous improvement mindset with emphasis on efficiency and quality.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing needs.
• Willingness to learn and apply new concepts.
• Experience with Workiva/Hyperion/Workday is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Research US GAAP/SEC rules and document accounting treatments.
• Review material revenue contracts under ASC 606.
• Summarize accounting positions for stakeholders.
• Prepare Form 10-Q and Form 10-K filings with SEC.
• Collaborate with Investor Relations and other departments.
• Prepare monthly internal reporting materials (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Assist with purchase accounting for business combinations (ASC 805).
• Monitor FASB updates and SEC rules for impact on the company.
• Update finance instruction manual and policies.
• Support external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audit.
