Youwe Ukraine seeks a Financial Controller to own the Ukrainian finance function, including accounting, payroll and tax, with a view to scalable global expansion. You will collaborate with the international finance team in Rotterdam and Leeds to ensure compliant, accurate financials and robust internal controls.

Responsibilities include month-end close, annual accounts, intercompany reconciliations, auditing support, and migrating processes to a modern ERP like Workday.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in financial control and/or accounting.
• Experience in an international company or with international reporting, and an understanding of European financial rules.
• Solid knowledge of Ukrainian accounting, tax and payroll legislation.
• Hands-on experience with closing, reporting, payroll, tax filings and audits.
• Experience with ERP systems (for example SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or NetSuite).
• Independent and self-organized, and comfortable working remotely with colleagues across countries.
• Fluent in English, spoken and written.

Responsabilités

• Take end-to-end ownership of accounting for Youwe Ukraine, including bookkeeping, invoicing, supplier administration and fixed assets.
• Run month-end and year-end closing and the annual accounts, making sure financial statements are accurate, complete and on time.
• Define and maintain internal controls, monitor Ukrainian tax and legal requirements, and flag risks early.
• Ensure payroll and tax filings for Ukraine are correct and on time.
• Own intercompany reconciliations and transfer pricing, and act as the point of contact for auditors and tax queries.
• Streamline and automate finance processes using ERP, Power BI, data analytics and AI.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis for Ukraine and, over time, globally.
• Migrate the Youwe Ukraine financial administration into Workday and set up processes, data and controls that work in an international ERP.
