Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Corporate Controller for a remote US-based role. You will lead accounting operations, close processes, internal controls, and GAAP compliance across a multi-entity organization with international operations.

You will mentor the accounting team, drive financial systems improvements, and coordinate audits and tax compliance while partnering with senior leadership on strategic financial guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required; a Master’s (MS/MBA) preferred.
• CPA credential is preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of full-time experience in public accounting or industry.
• Experience supporting international operations and multi-jurisdiction accounting.
• Proven ability to lead remote accounting teams and develop staff.
• Strong GAAP knowledge, internal controls, reconciliations, and close processes.
• Proficiency with NetSuite; familiarity with Concur and ADP is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities for accurate reporting.
• Establish policies and internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance.
• Oversee accounts receivable, billing, and cash applications with the Assistant Controller.
• Manage accounts payable, payroll, and payroll tax compliance across entities.
• Supervise international accounting and currency translation in line with GAAP.
• Maintain financial systems integrity and drive system improvements.
• Lead financial system projects with NetSuite/Concur/ADP vendors.
• Prepare audit workpapers and assist external auditors and tax compliance.
• Advise CFO/CEO on GAAP application and financial reporting policies.
• Improve reporting quality and disclosures across subsidiaries.
• Oversee fixed asset accounting and physical inventory controls.
• Mentor and develop the accounting team; set goals and performance reviews.
• Support strategic priorities and cross-functional initiatives.
