Job summary

Jobgether partners with a company seeking a Corporate Controller to oversee accounting operations from a remote location in the United States. The role requires leading monthly and annual closes, policy development, internal controls, and compliance with GAAP across international entities.

You will mentor the accounting team, drive system improvements (NetSuite, Concur, ADP), coordinate audits and tax activities, and provide strategic financial guidance to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; a Master of Science or MBA preferred.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential preferred.
• At least 10 years of full-time experience in public accounting or industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities, ensuring timely financial information.
• Develop, document, implement, and enforce financial policies and internal controls.
• Oversee accounts receivable, cash receipts, and vendor payments with payroll compliance.
• Oversee accounting for international offices and currency translation per U.S. GAAP.
• Lead financial system improvements and collaborate with NetSuite, Concur, and ADP implementations.
• Direct audit preparation and support executive decision-making with GAAP guidance.
• Mentor and develop the accounting team and drive process improvements.
• Support strategic organizational priorities and risk management.
