Job summary

San Bernardino County is seeking a Principal Administrative Analyst to perform highly complex financial analysis across debt finance, budgeting, and fee programs. The role leads countywide initiatives and supports the five-year forecast, capital improvement program, and revenue-raising strategies, guiding departments and CAO analysts.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of professional-level analytical experience in budget, fee program management (including analysis of cost to deliver services and fee revenue projections), capital projects (planning, funding, and implementation), debt financing, organization-wide revenue-related experience, or data science/analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the Countywide fee development process, including administration of the County’s three-year fee cycle and mid-cycle fee requests.
• Review departmental fee proposals, cost-recovery methodologies and revenue projections; provide technical guidance to departments and CAO analysts.
• Develop recommendations for executive management and Board of Supervisors consideration.
• Assignments may rotate among areas within the Finance and Administration Division.
