Job summary

San Bernardino County is seeking a Principal Administrative Analyst to manage special projects and provide complex analysis with countywide impact. The role supports the County Administrative Office by coordinating communications, preparing reports, and guiding Board agenda processes.

The ideal candidate will lead countywide initiatives, conduct in-depth policy and process research, write and present recommendations, and coordinate with multiple stakeholders across departments.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating with an executive office and department heads.
• Ability to analyze processes, policies and procedures with countywide impact.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to develop and present recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate CAO communications with department heads and prepare reports for the CEO.
• Oversee Board Agenda Item review, training for submitters, and contract reviews before Board submission.
• Lead and manage special countywide projects and initiatives; conduct complex research and provide recommendations.
• Prepare for and attend Board meetings; represent the county at committee and community meetings.
