ShipBob, Inc. is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the finance team supporting transportation initiatives. You will forecast, analyze variances, and prepare board materials to drive profitable growth.

You will partner with FP&A and the Transportation team to enhance margin analysis and forecasting, contributing to strategic projects and ad-hoc work in a fast-paced startup environment. The role reports to the FP&A Manager and requires strong financial modeling, Excel proficiency, and

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in business or finance.
• 3–5 years FP&A or related experience.
• Excellent Excel, PowerPoint and communication skills.
• Hybrid Chicago office schedule required.

Responsabilidades

• Complete thorough analysis on transportation initiatives each month and communicate key performance drivers and variances to plan to senior management.
• Collaborate with partners to strategize and report on weekly performance, especially related to Transportation.
• Manage relationships with Transportation team to build bottoms up forecasts and identify risks and opportunities.
• Support development and implementation of models and processes for new strategic transportation initiatives.
• Prepare the annual operating plan with Transportation to build plans and targets and convert to the budget.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting presentations for investors and the board.
• Provide margin analysis and communicate findings to business partners.
• Continuously improve models and processes; automate where possible.
• Collaborate with management to drive improvements in strategic approaches.
