Job summary

Augmentis is seeking a Financial Analyst to support budgeting, monthly close, forecasting, and internal controls for a major aero/industrial manufacturing client. The role involves cross-functional collaboration, data synthesis, and strategic financial analysis.

The position offers relocation support and starts with remote onboarding for 30–60 days while relocation is finalized. Candidates should have 2+ years in accounting/finance and strong MS Office, plus ERP familiarity.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting or financial role.
Strong analytical and decision-making skills, able to synthesize data.
Excellent written and verbal communication; cross-functional collaboration.
Advanced MS Office; experience with Epicor, Oracle, or Hyperion is a plus.

Responsibilities

Prepare monthly forecasts, weekly updates, and analyze results.
Perform monthly reconciliations and inventory analysis.
Conduct SOX-related self-assessments and internal controls testing.
Review variances and costs affecting job costing: raw materials, labor, overhead.
Assist in departmental budgeting, reporting, and KPI tracking.
Support internal and external facility audits.
Aid pricing and profitability analysis for products/services.
Communicate results to corporate on a monthly cadence.
Post journal entries and handle other general accounting tasks.
