Job summary

Augmentis is assisting a client, a global aerospace and energy components manufacturer, in filling a Financial Analyst role in Southern California with full relocation support. The role involves budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for the plant, with SOX compliance and cross-functional collaboration as core responsibilities.

The candidate will work with accounting, operations, and audit teams, preparing analyses, journal entries, and cost reviews while enjoying comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience with formal training in financial accounting, cost accounting, financial analysis, and reporting.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and cross-functional communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Epicor, Oracle, and Hyperion experience a plus.
• ITAR and U.S. person status; must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial forecasts, weekly forecast updates, and analyses of financial and operational results.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations and inventory analysis.
• Conduct self-assessment audits and ensure SOX compliance.
• Review monthly manufacturing variances and plant expenses affecting job costing.
• Assist in budgeting, reporting, and periodic key metrics reviews.
• Support audits and pricing/profitability assessments.
