Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to support senior management with financial analysis and operational insights. The role involves month-end close activities, variance explanations, and ensuring opportunities are captured across the enterprise.

You will forecast and plan, analyze branch performance, and train staff on financial tools and policies, while coordinating with Shared Services and Corporate Accounting. Strong communication across management levels is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field required.
• MBA preferred.
• 2–4 years in corporate finance (Fortune 500 or consulting) required.
• 5+ years post-MBA preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office (Intermediate).

Responsibilities

• Month-End Closing: prepare journals, reclass revenue/expenses, and research GL variances.
• Collaborate with DOO, DOS and DOR to identify cost/productivity improvements.
• Forecasting, budgeting, and branch performance analysis.
• Provide financial training to Business Unit staff on policies, procedures and tools.
• Assist Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and branch audits.
