Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to provide financial and analytical support to Senior Financial Management, Group Logistics Managers, and Logistics Managers.

The role includes month-end closing, variance explanations, and collaboration with operations and sales leadership. Ideally, candidates have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, MBA preferred, and 2–4+ years in corporate finance within a Fortune 500 firm or consulting environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field required.
• MBA preferred.
• 2–4 years (or more) experience in a corporate Finance Department within a Fortune 500 company or consulting firm.
• 5+ years post MBA preferred.
• Must be proficient with MS Office (Intermediate)

Responsibilities

• Month-end close including journal entries and variance explanations.
• Identify opportunities for cost/productivity improvements with DOO, DOS and DOR.
• Forecasting, business planning and branch performance analysis.
• Provide financial training to Business Unit staff.
• Ensure Sarbanes-Oxley compliance through branch audits.
• Act as liaison with Shared Services Center and Corporate Accounting.
