Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support senior management with financial analysis and planning across logistics operations. The role will report to finance leadership and collaborate with DOO, DOS, and DOR to drive cost improvements and accurate forecasting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field is required.
• MBA is preferred.
• 2–4+ years in a corporate Finance Department within a Fortune 500 company or consulting firm is required.
• 5+ years post-MBA is preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office is required.

Responsibilities

• Month-End Closing including journal entries and variance explanations.
• Identify cost/productivity improvement opportunities with ops leadership.
• Forecasting, business planning and branch performance analysis.
• Provide financial training to Business Unit staff on policies and tools.
• Ensure Sarbanes-Oxley compliance through branch audits as needed.
• Liaise with Shared Services Center and Corporate Accounting.
