Job summary

Florida International University is seeking a Financial Aid Liaison to serve as the primary escalation point for the Onestop Office. You will interpret Title IV regulations and provide high-level counseling to students and families on financial aid and enrollment service inquiries.

You will train staff on policies, handle complex program processing when needed, and work with Onestop to resolve escalated cases while ensuring compliance with federal/state rules and NCAA regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and four (4) years of financial aid or related experience or a Master's degree and two (2) years of financial aid or related experience.
• Ability to obtain NSLDS access and comply with related requirements within 60 days of employment.
• Must adhere to federal, state, institutional, and NCAA rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provides high level counseling to students and families on financial aid and enrollment services.
• Resolves complex financial aid issues as the primary escalation point for the Onestop Office.
• Trains university staff on financial aid policies and procedures.
• Delivers responsive customer service via telephone, email, in-person, and live chat.
• Assists with recruitment and orientation activities to present financial aid information to prospective students and parents.
• Interprets and communicates Title IV regulations to administrators, faculty, staff and students.
