Job summary

DLC is seeking an experienced Financial Accounting Supervisor to join our Orange County market in a full-time salaried role. You will lead accounting and finance initiatives across reporting, forecasting, systems implementations and transformations, partnering with senior executives.

You will help clients navigate critical initiatives from reporting and compliance to forecasting, process improvements and interim leadership, supporting Fortune 1000 and private equity-backed environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related area required
• MBA and/or CPA or in process preferred
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS; public accounting experience preferred
• 5+ years of demonstrated success in a Fortune 1000 company
• Experience in accounting, finance, FP&A, reporting, audit, systems, or transformation
• Ability to adapt quickly across different clients, industries & business needs
• Strong analytical, project management & communication skills
• Collaborative approach & confidence working with senior stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting processes
• Improve and optimize the month-end close
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and reporting packages
• Support SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, S-1, S-3, S-4)
• Analyze and implement new FASB pronouncements
• Support audits and post-merger integration efforts
• Develop and document internal controls, policies & procedures
• Lead or support financial systems implementations & upgrades
• Define business requirements and assist with software selection
• Partner across Finance and IT
• Design charts of accounts
• Create and execute testing plans
• Build reports using ERP and reporting tools
• Identify process improvements and support implementation
• Provide post-launch support & troubleshooting
• Document current-state processes and redesign workflows
