Job summary

DLC, an award-winning professional services firm, seeks an Financial Accounting Supervisor to join our Orange County team. This full-time salaried role focuses on accounting, finance, FP&A, reporting, audits, and system transformations for diverse clients, including Fortune 1000s.

You will lead and implement processes, partner with Finance and IT, and support interim leadership during growth or transitions. A CPA/MBA and strong US GAAP knowledge are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related area.
• MBA and/or CPA or in process preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS; public accounting experience preferred.
• 5+ years in a Fortune 1000 company environment.
• Experience in accounting, finance, FP&A, reporting, audit, systems or transformation.
• Ability to adapt quickly across clients, industries and business needs.
• Strong analytical, project management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting processes.
• Improve and optimize the month-end close.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and reporting packages.
• Support SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, S-1, S-3, S-4).
• Develop operating plans, forecasts and long-range plans.
• Build financial models and decision-support tools.
• Lead or support ERP implementations and upgrades.
• Document current-state processes and redesign workflows.
• Step into interim finance leadership roles as needed.
• Coordinate cross-functional project teams and manage timelines.
