Job summary

DLC, an Addison Group Company, seeks experienced Accounting & Finance Consultants to join our Orange County team in full-time, salaried roles. You will support clients on interim and project-based accounting needs across a range of industries, collaborating with finance and operating executives on high-impact initiatives.

You will handle accounting, reporting, budgeting, system implementations, and process improvements while ensuring GAAP compliance and strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
• 2+ years Big 4 or top public accounting firm experience preferred.
• 4+ years corporate general ledger experience with GAAP knowledge.
• CPA certification desired.
• Experience drafting SEC filings (10-Qs and 10-Ks) preferred.
• SOX internal control compliance experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with standard office software.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting, month-end close, consolidation, and reporting package development.
• Prepare SEC reporting packages (10-K, 10-Q, S-1, S-3, S-4) and implement new FASB pronouncements.
• Lead post-merger integrations and coordinate audits.
• Develop and document internal control policies to strengthen financial reporting.
• Develop operating plans, forecasts, and multi-year strategic plans.
• Perform financial modeling including pricing, cost-to-serve, capex, acquisitions, profitability analyses.
• Lead financial system implementations and IT liaison; design COA and reports using ERP tools.
• Document current-state processes and redesign workflows to align with new systems.
• Provide interim finance leadership during growth, reorganizations, or relocations.
• Lead projects with objectives, scope, timelines and cross-functional teams.
