Job summary

DLC is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to join our team in Orange County. This full-time role focuses on month-end close, financial reporting, FP&A, post-merger integration, and process improvements across diverse industries.

We value collaboration, professional development, and clear paths for career advancement. The ideal candidate holds an MBA and/or CPA (or in progress) with 8+ years of relevant experience and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• MBA and/or CPA or in progress required.
• 8+ years of relevant experience with some experience in large public company.
• Strong ability to convey skills and knowledge to clients.
• Adaptability in changing environments.
• High energy with commitment to exceed customer expectations.
• Demonstrated career progression.
• Advanced Excel and ability to manipulate large data sets.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all month-end close activities.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, consolidations and trend analysis.
• Present quarterly financials for Executive teams in monthly meetings.
• Assist in post-merger integration – systems and processes.
• Redesign reporting packages and perform cash flow forecasting.
• Manage annual planning and forecasting across business units.
• Support 10-Q/10-K filings and related MD&A
• Conduct technical accounting research and write white papers on complex transactions.
• Support ERP implementation and upgrades.
• Drive process improvements and policy development.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses for critical business decisions.
