Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation in Colorado is seeking a Business Manager II to lead financial performance, budgeting, and strategic resource planning across corporate programs. You will partner with Finance, accounting, and operations to align with corporate objectives and drive cost control and value creation.

Responsibilities include managing indirect project budgets, analyzing spend, preparing reports for senior leadership, mentoring teammates, and ensuring compliance with DoD/government

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 9+ years of experience in finance, accounting, business operations, or related field with at least 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and maintain indirect project budgets and spend projections.
• Serve as liaison between Capability Delivery and Finance/Accounting, managing charges.
• Maintain visibility into project execution health and financial targets.
• Identify and manage departmental risks with mitigation plans.
• Prepare and present financial reports and spend analyses to leadership.
• Implement processes to improve financial controls and efficiency.
• Mentor teammates on budget and business processes.
• Track contractor labor rates, headcount and SOW spend.
• Identify capital expenditure candidates within software portfolio.
