Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) in Plano, TX seeks a Business Manager II to lead financial performance, budgeting, and strategic resource planning within our corporate program finance team.

You will partner with business groups, manage indirect project budgets, monitor spend against forecasts, and provide senior leadership with clear financial reports while ensuring compliance with DoD contracting policies and security clearance requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 9+ years in finance, accounting, business operations, or a related field with at least 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and prepare financial reports and/or projections.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required.
• Experience in Aerospace and Defense, technology, software, IT systems, or digital capability delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the department's Business Systems Analyst to develop, manage, and maintain indirect project budgets, ensure baseline reflects cost to sustain and grow systems portfolio, monitor spend projections and drive course corrections.
• Serve as the primary liaison between Capability Delivery and Finance/Accounting, managing charge codes, charge lines, staffing projections, and spend commitments.
• Maintain high-level visibility into project execution health, ensuring projects progress in alignment with financial targets and schedule expectations.
• Advise on projects when Finance/Accounting knowledge is needed.
• Identify, assess, and manage department-level risks; develop and track mitigation strategies with project/technical teams.
