Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation in Colorado is seeking a Contracts Manager II to oversee the administration and negotiation of complex contracts within the DoD contracting framework. You will ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS, advise management, and lead contract actions from RFP through closeout.

This role requires a bachelor’s degree, 5–10+ years of related experience, TS clearance, and proven ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5–10+ years of related contracts experience or equivalent in DoD contracting
• Experience with USG contract types (FFP, FPIF, CPAF, CPFF, T&M)
• Strong understanding of contract law and regulations including FAR/DFARS
• Ability to make effective presentations to senior management
• Strong business acumen with the ability to recognize risk in transactions
• Active TS Clearance qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee the administration and negotiation of complex contracts.
• Analyze and review contract estimates for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
• Advise management on contractual rights, obligations, and potential risks.
• Manage contract modifications, renewals, and terminations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful contract execution and compliance.
• Monitor contract performance and compliance, addressing issues proactively.
• Conduct audits and compliance reviews with documentation.
