Job summary

Merit Advisors in Dallas, TX seeks a Finance Manager to serve as CFO's strategic partner, guiding the finance team and delivering high‑quality analysis and recommendations to executive leadership and the board.

You will oversee the 3-statement model, forecasts, dashboards, and KPI scorecards, and play a key role in M&A and growth initiatives, while maintaining executive presence and mentoring a talented finance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 7-10 years of finance management experience in FP&A or corporate strategy.
• Experience leading finance teams and partnering with CFOs or exec leadership.
• Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, financial modeling; BI tools and accounting software a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as CFO's strategic partner to drive financial strategy and decision-making.
• Lead and mentor the Finance team with delegated responsibilities.
• Manage and review 3-statement model, forecasts, and analyses for real-time insights.
• Prepare Board and Executive-level presentations with actionable recommendations.
• Analyze performance, identify drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop dashboards, KPIs, and scorecards with key metrics.
• Oversee revenue pipeline analysis and alignment with strategic goals.
• Support M&A, growth initiatives, and long-term investments.
