Job summary

East 57th Street Partners is seeking a hands-on Chief Financial Officer for a portfolio company in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. You will oversee accounting and finance, drive planning and analysis, manage cash and debt, and provide strategic guidance to the CEO and private equity sponsor through growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proven CFO or senior finance leadership experience in a middle-market business.
• Meaningful experience with private equity sponsors, boards, and lenders.
• Demonstrated add-on acquisitions and post-acquisition financial integration.
• Strong technical accounting foundation with FP&A, cash management, and operational finance.
• Experience improving financial systems, reporting, and processes across multiple entities or locations.
• Ability to translate financial analysis into practical business decisions and drive execution.
• Strong communication skills with operators, executives, and investors.
• Bachelor’s in accounting/finance; CPA and/or MBA preferred; US work experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO, leadership team, and PE sponsor on financial performance and growth.
• Lead accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A.
• Support add-on acquisitions through financial modeling, diligence, and execution.
• Lead post-acquisition financial integration, including policies, reporting, systems, and controls.
• Establish integration plans, track milestones, and measure synergy realization.
• Develop consistent reporting across the platform and acquired businesses for timely insights.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, liquidity, debt compliance, and lender relationships.
• Present results and strategic recommendations to the board and sponsor.
• Strengthen processes and internal controls to support a growing organization.
• Build and develop a finance team to support daily operations and acquisition activity.
