Job summary

RTX Naval Power division in Massachusetts seeks a finance professional to join our DOD/FMS portfolio. You will handle financial operations, collaborate with internal/external customers, and support EACs, budgets, and forecasts in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have a finance-related degree, 2+ years of experience, and strong analytical and communication skills. This hybrid role offers exposure to program controls and strategic financial planning within RTX's defense programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, or related field, or equivalent experience, plus 2+ years' relevant experience.
• Experience using SAP (APEX/PRISM/BW or similar) and RTN PMX or similar financial systems.
• Experience with Program Controls (Cost/Schedule) and/or EAC Process.
• U.S. citizenship required for security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Quarterly development of Estimate at Completion (EACs).
• Deliver monthly contract deliverables (CDRLs).
• Interface with Control Account Managers, Program Management, the Integrated Product Leadership Team, and ensuring compliance with financial policies.
• Analysis of program performance, utilization of PRISM tools, assisting with initial baseline for new awards.
• Support review and forecast of Bookings, Sales, Earnings and Cash forecast to Financial Planning.
• Summarize contract level inputs and updates to Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
• Contribute to cross-functional teams with an emphasis on financial implications of team decisions and ensure finance team knowledge of program decisions.
• Develop, utilize, and disseminate process improvement and tool improvement opportunities to enhance analytical opportunities for the entire finance team.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or related field

Advanced Excel Skills

U.S. citizenship required

SAP (APEX/PRISM/BW/AO) experience

RTN PMX or similar financial systems
