Job summary

Vaco Recruiter Services is seeking an Operations Manager for Final Mile / Home Delivery operations in Tulsa, OK. You will lead daily delivery site activities, build strong relationships with customers and Independent Contractors, and drive performance across Quality Control, Customer Service, and Operations.

The role requires 5+ years of logistics leadership, a track record of improving KPIs, and the ability to manage budgets and safety.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of operations leadership in logistics, transportation, or a related field.
• Experience managing employees in distribution, transportation, delivery, or warehouse settings.
• Experience with Independent Contractors.
• Strong customer relationship and account management skills.
• Proven ability to lead fast-paced operational teams.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining service standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of a Final Mile delivery location
• Build and maintain relationships with onsite customers and Independent Contractors
• Supervise and develop a team across Quality Control, Customer Service, and Operations
• Ensure strong delivery performance, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence
• Monitor KPIs and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members
• Manage Independent Contractor compliance, performance, and accountability
• Partner with customers to resolve operational and service-related issues
• Maintain a safe, efficient, and productive work environment
• Participate in budgeting and overall operational financial performance
• Identify process improvements that increase efficiency, service levels, and productivity
