Job summary

DSS Final Mile is seeking an organized Dispatcher / Logistics Coordinator to support Tulsa final-mile deliveries. You will manage daily routes, communicate with drivers, customers, and management, and ensure on-time performance.

The role emphasizes problem solving, route optimization, and adherence to POD procedures. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in dispatch/logistics, experience with contractor drivers, and strong MS Office and GPS skills.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of dispatch or logistics experience preferred.
• Experience with independent contractor drivers is a plus.
• Strong computer skills including email, MS Office, GPS/mapping apps, and dispatch software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple drivers and routes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch daily delivery routes and driver assignments.
• Monitor drivers to keep deliveries on schedule.
• Maintain regular driver communication regarding pickups, deliveries, and route changes.
• Identify potential service issues and implement corrective actions.
• Assist with daily route balancing and coverage when needed.
• Ensure drivers follow customer requirements and POD procedures.
• Record route activity and customer communications accurately.
• Support warehouse with staging, scanning, and release of freight.
