Electric Power Systems is seeking a Field Technician III to lead field crews, perform advanced testing and maintenance on substation equipment, and support commissioning and critical field operations.

The role emphasizes safety leadership, diagnostics, coordination with engineers and project teams, and travel to job sites; requires 5+ years in the electrical industry, a valid driver's license, and pre-employment screenings.

Qualifications

• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Successful background check is required.
• Ability to work overtime and travel out of town.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Lead field crews and perform advanced testing and maintenance of high, medium, and low voltage equipment.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical and control systems using schematics and diagrams.
• Coordinate daily field activities with engineers and project managers.
• Mentor junior technicians and reinforce safety practices.
• Support installation, commissioning, and functional testing.
• Review test results and document field activities accurately.
