Electric Power Systems is seeking a Field Technician II to perform testing, inspection, and maintenance of substation electrical equipment with increased independence. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and efficient field activities under minimal supervision.

You will work with engineers and senior technicians, document results, travel as needed, and support commissioning efforts. A Bachelor's or Associate degree in Electrical/Electronic technology or military experience is preferred, along

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Electrical/Electronic technology.
• Military experience preferred.
• 2–4 years of relevant industry experience.
• NETA II certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety policies and PPE requirements in substation environments.
• Test, inspect, and maintain high, medium, and low voltage equipment.
• Troubleshoot using schematics and manuals; escalate complex issues.
• Document testing, maintenance, and repair work as required.
• Assist with commissioning activities and ensure equipment readiness.

Education

Electrical/Electronic technology degree
