Electric Power Systems seeks a Field Technician II to perform testing, inspection, and maintenance of substation equipment with increasing independence. You will troubleshoot using schematics, support commissioning, document work, and coordinate with engineers and senior techs.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Background check required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Willing to travel to job sites.
• Experience reading schematics and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety policies, PPE usage in substation environments.
• Perform testing of high, medium, and low voltage equipment with limited supervision.
• Inspect and maintain breakers, transformers, and switchgear.
• Troubleshoot issues using drawings and manuals; escalate as needed.
• Document testing and maintenance work in project records.
