Job summary

Smart Tech Contracting is seeking a Lead Field Technician – Critical Infrastructure to drive field execution on data center projects from 40 MW to 200 MW. You will direct STC field labor and coordinate subcontractors within assigned areas, ensuring work is completed on time and to specification.

The role requires strong technical judgment, field presence, and ability to resolve issues in real time while escalating risks and scope gaps as needed.

Qualifications

• Lead day-to-day field execution for assigned scopes, zones, or workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Direct STC field labor and coordinate subcontractors and trade partners within assigned areas.
• Coordinate daily activities across trades including electrical, mechanical, automation, controls, networking, and commissioning.
• Participate in daily coordination meetings, site walks, and trade alignment discussions.
