Job summary

ECS Group of Companies, based in Phoenix, is seeking a certified Construction Materials Testing Senior Field Technician to join our field services team. You will perform observation, testing, sampling, and inspection of soils, aggregates, concrete, and related materials on construction sites, under guidance from experienced staff and project managers.

Qualifications

2+ years of related experience.
High School diploma or GED.
Must maintain current basic level certifications plus 2 advanced certifications.
OSHA 10 is a plus.
Valid driver’s license and insurance required.
Ability to lift 40–70 lbs multiple times daily; up to 85 lbs.
Effective communication and safety awareness on job sites.
Proficiency with basic MS Office and mobile devices.

Responsibilities

Perform observation, testing, sampling, and inspection of materials on construction sites.
Execute tasks per project requirements under guidance of senior staff and project managers.
Conduct routine field tests for soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, and structural steel.
Draft field reports documenting site observations and test results.
Maintain daily communication with site contractors and project teams.
