Job summary

ECS Group of Companies is seeking a certified Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Senior Field Technician to join our Dallas team. You will perform a range of field testing and inspection tasks, collaborating with experienced project management professionals to ensure safety and quality on site.

You will develop professionally through ECS training and certifications while supporting field activities across soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, and structural steel placements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Must maintain current basic certifications and two advanced certifications.
• OSHA 10 is a plus.
• Must have valid driver's license and insurance.
• Must provide suitable transportation for job sites - mileage reimbursed.
• Strong communication skills (speaking, reading, and writing).
• Excellent understanding of heavy construction safety, practices, and procedures.
• Proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform observation, testing, sampling, and inspection of materials on construction sites.
• Conduct routine field tests for soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, and steel placements.
• Collect data, calculations, and draft field reports documenting site observations.
• Maintain daily communication with site contractors, technicians, and project managers.
• Receive training in ECS methodology and document findings precisely.
