Job summary

ECS Limited in San Antonio, TX is seeking a qualified Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Senior Field Technician. You will perform field observations, sampling, and testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, and steel placement under supervision from project managers.

We value strong communication, data collection, and safety awareness. Eligible candidates should have 2+ years of field experience and be willing to pursue additional certifications while developing with our project

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience.
• Must have and be willing to maintain current basic level certifications and an additional 2 advanced certifications.
• OSHA 10 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform observation, testing, sampling, and inspection of materials on construction sites.
• Conduct tests for soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, and steel placement.
• Collect data and prepare field reports documenting site observations and test results.
• Maintain daily communication with site contractors, technicians, and project managers.
• Receive training in ECS methodology for project observations, inspections, and testing.
