Job summary

ECS Group of Companies in Tulsa, OK is seeking a certified Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Senior Field Technician to join our Field Services team. You will perform observation, testing, sampling, and inspection of soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, and structural steel on construction sites.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Must maintain current basic level certifications and an additional 2 advanced certifications.
• OSHA 10 certification is a plus.
• Position requires lifting 40-70 lbs multiple times a day or occasionally 85 lbs to waist height.
• Must have valid driver's license and insurance.
• Must provide suitable transportation for use on job sites - Mileage will be reimbursed.
• Must be able to safely operate a motor vehicle and follow all laws and company policies.
• Strong communication skills (speaking, reading, and writing).
• Proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Field Activities: Observe, test, sample, and inspect soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, and structural steel on construction sites.
• Testing Procedures: Conduct routine field tests using various methodologies and equipment per standards.
• Data Collection: Compile data and prepare field reports documenting site observations.
• Communication: Maintain daily communication with site contractors and project managers; inform teams of changing site conditions.
• Training and Development: Receive training in ECS methodology and document findings precisely.
