Job summary

RESA Power is seeking Field Tech/Sr. Field Tech for Renewable Operations & Maintenance. The role involves testing and maintaining power transmission equipment, from 45 KVA to 130 MVA transformers, relay systems and switchgear up to 500kV.

Strong safety and communication skills are essential, with on-call duties as required. Candidates should have a High School diploma/GED and experience in the field, familiarity with NETA/NEC/OSHA/NFPA standards, and the ability to work safely in a dynamic

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED and 1 year in related field.
• Knowledge of NETA/NEC/OSHA/NFPA standards.
• Experience with MCCs, breakers, relay testing, oil testing, infrared scanning.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, start-up and data collection on HV/MV/LV electrical systems up to 500kV.
• Install, commission, test and maintain protective relaying equipment.
• Develop and document commissioning/testing procedures for relay systems.
• Perform functional testing of substation control circuits.
• Rotate emergency on-call duties and respond to customer emergencies.
