Job summary

CoVolt Power seeks an experienced Lead Surveyor to direct field surveying teams, supervise data collection, and prepare maps, plans, and legal descriptions for utility-scale projects in Texas. You will ensure compliance with standards and coordinate with Construction Managers to meet timelines and budgets.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and hands-on expertise with survey equipment and software.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Surveyor or equivalent role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong technical skills with survey equipment and software.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of surveyors in the field, ensuring they have resources and support to complete the job.
• Oversee the survey work, including data collection and preparation of maps, plans, and legal descriptions.
• Ensure survey work meets all standards and regulations.
• Interpret survey results and decide on methods and equipment.
• Communicate with clients and provide project progress updates.
• Maintain and train the survey team and equipment.
• Collaborate with Construction Manager to meet timelines and budgets.
