Job summary

CoVolt Power, a leading utility-scale EPC, seeks an experienced Surveyor to lead field survey teams in Texas. You will oversee data collection, mapping, and legal descriptions, and ensure compliance with all standards and regulations in a dynamic outdoor environment.

You will collaborate with the Construction Manager to keep projects on schedule and within budget, while training staff and maintaining survey equipment for reliable operation in varied weather conditions.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Surveyor or equivalent role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong technical skills with survey equipment and software.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of surveyors in the field, ensuring resources and support.
Oversee survey work, data collection, and preparation of maps, plans, and legal descriptions.
Ensure survey work meets all standards and regulations.
Interpret survey results and decide on methods and equipment.
Communicate with clients and provide project updates.
Maintain and update survey equipment and train the team.
Collaborate with Construction Manager to meet schedule and budget.
