Job summary

CoVolt Power seeks a seasoned Lead Surveyor to head field surveying efforts for utility-scale projects in Texas. You will supervise a team, ensure accurate data collection, and produce maps, plans, and legal descriptions while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a surveyor or equivalent field role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of surveyors in the field with resource and support oversight.
• Oversee survey work, data collection, and creation of maps, plans, and legal descriptions.
• Ensure survey work complies with standards and regulations.
• Interpret survey results and select methods and equipment.
• Communicate progress updates to clients.
• Maintain and train the survey crew and equipment; coordinate with Construction Manager to meet schedule and budget.
