Job summary

CoVolt Power in Texas is seeking an experienced Survey Lead to guide field teams, manage data collection, maps and legal descriptions, and ensure compliance with standards. You will coordinate with the Construction Manager to deliver projects on time and within budget.

The role requires 5+ years as a surveyor, strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to travel frequently; a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Surveyor or equivalent.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong technical skills with survey equipment and software.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of surveyors in the field and provide support and resources.
• Oversee survey work, data collection, and preparation of maps, plans, and legal descriptions.
• Ensure survey work meets all standards and regulations.
• Interpret survey results and advise on methods and equipment.
• Communicate with clients and provide progress updates on the project.
• Maintain and update survey equipment and ensure team readiness.
• Collaborate with the Construction Manager to meet project timelines and budgets.
