Job summary

BSGI in Hanover, MD seeks an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead multiple federal projects, coordinating trades, safety, and quality. The role requires managing schedules, submittals, and closeout activities on secured facilities and renovations.

You will work closely with Owners, CORs, and subcontractors to ensure on-time, compliant project delivery while upholding safety and quality standards on challenging federal sites.

Qualifications

• Education must be a high school diploma or GED.
• 7+ years as a Construction Superintendent on commercial or federal projects.
• Experience managing federal projects for USACE/DoD/NAVFAC/GSA or similar.
• Coordinate multiple subcontractors and trades.
• Projects over $500,000 including secure facilities and renovations.
• Knowledge of building systems: architectural, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm/suppression.
• Read/interpret drawings, specs, contracts.
• OSHA 30, valid driver's license, U.S. citizenship, fluent English.
• Ability to obtain/maintain access to federal installations.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily field operations on multiple federal construction projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel to maintain schedules.
• Plan activities to maximize efficiency while minimizing disruption.
• Lead daily site meetings and communicate expectations.
• Maintain a professional and productive jobsite culture.
• Manage schedules, sequencing, deliveries, and turnover activities.
• Ensure quality and safety compliance on all work.
