Job summary
JBW Federal is seeking a Superintendent to lead field execution for government construction projects. You will manage site operations, oversee work in progress, and coordinate with the Construction Project Manager and subcontractors to ensure compliance with Plans, Specifications, and safety standards.
The role requires proven experience as a Superintendent on government works, familiarity with RMS software, and ability to read plans and shop drawings.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Superintendent on new construction and renovation projects.
- Experience with RMS software and field reporting.
- Ability to read Plans, Specifications, and Shop Drawings.
- Willingness to travel to various job sites.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily with Construction Project Manager
- Maintain and update project schedule and lookahead
- Coordinate subcontractors and support staff for onsite tasks
- Complete daily reporting and site photos
- Read/Understand Plans and Specifications
- Construct work according to Plans/Contract Documents
- Coordinate with Government stakeholders on field activities
- Monitor workmanship and submittal compliance
- Maintain and Facilitate the Company Safety Program
- Review subcontractor materials and workmanship
- Facilitate the Company Quality Control Program
- Maintain RMS and other Government reporting programs
- Track and complete punch lists per contract
- Assist with gathering O&M Manuals and Closeout Documents
