GH Engage, a Long Island-based general contractor, seeks a Senior Construction Superintendent to own field operations across industrial, multifamily, healthcare, and commercial projects on a full-time, on-site basis in Hauppauge, NY. You will lead safety, logistics, and coordination with engineers, architects, and trades to keep projects moving.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Construction Superintendent on commercial, industrial, or institutional projects.
• Background with GC/CM or developer-side construction team.
• In-depth understanding of construction procedures, codes, and safety standards.
• OSHA trained and committed to a proactive safety culture.
• A field leader who runs a disciplined jobsite while staying approachable to trades and project team.

Responsibilities

• Own field operations from mobilization through final turnover.
• Maintain daily jobsite logs and produce 3-week look-aheads.
• Run weekly foreman meetings and schedule subcontractors/vendors to meet the project timeline.
• Perform quality control, inspecting work against contract documents and specifications; collaborate with engineers, architects, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Own site access control and day-to-day site management.
• Promote a safety-first culture and Incident and Injury Free (IIF) program.
