Job summary

CRB seeks a senior Construction Superintendent to lead field activities on major, multi-discipline projects in Alabama. You will direct daily operations, coordinate trade partners, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence from mobilization through turnover.

The role requires 15+ years of construction experience, strong leadership, and the ability to read plans and contract documents. Proficiency with construction tech and project management tools is expected.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of construction experience and proven success on mid-sized to large projects.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, and contract documents.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience coordinating field teams, subcontractors, and trade partners.
• Experience using construction technology and field software.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field construction activities to ensure safe, efficient work per drawings and specs.
• Manage execution to meet budgets, quality standards, and schedule commitments.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise subs, craft staff, vendors, and field personnel.
• Lead complex projects across multiple phases of execution.
• Develop short/long-term construction plans and look-ahead schedules.
• Drive Lean Construction, constructability reviews, and continuous improvement.
• Interpret drawings and contract documents; resolve field issues promptly.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, Designers, and Owners for success.
• Oversee multiple scopes of work or disciplines depending on project needs.
