Job summary

Air Comfort, Inc is seeking a Senior Superintendent in Boston to lead field operations for Life Science, Pharmaceutical, Laboratory Build Out, and Biotech projects. You will oversee complex, high-visibility builds valued from $10M to $50M and mentor field teams to deliver on-time, safely and to the highest quality standards.

The role requires strong leadership, deep construction knowledge, and a proactive approach to safety, quality, and stakeholder relations on fast-paced projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Superintendent with a general contractor.
• Strong communication and leadership skills demonstrated on site.
• Experience mentoring, training, and developing team members.
• Project experience in Life Science, Pharmaceutical, Laboratory Build Out, or Biotech facilities.
• Experience managing projects ranging from $10M to $50M.
• Demonstrated success on complex, logistically challenging, fast-paced, and high-visibility projects.
• Understanding of cGMP and FDA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations to ensure site safety, construction progress, quality control, and site cleanliness.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of project strategy, including financial goals, scheduling, logistics, phasing, milestones, and inspections.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to maintain an accurate and updated project schedule that aligns with cost and time requirements.
• Maintain open and effective communication with the project team regarding changes in work, job conditions, subcontractor relations, and project direction.
• Promote positive relationships by working fairly and professionally with subcontractors and vendors, and instill this approach within the project team.
• Mentor, train, and develop field personnel, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
