Job summary

CRB seeks a seasoned Superintendent to lead field construction activities on complex projects in life sciences and related industries. You will ensure safety, schedule, budget adherence, and compliance with project specs while coordinating trade partners and client stakeholders.

You will manage scopes from approx. $2M to $50M+ and mentor field personnel, driving Lean and constructability improvements from mobilization through turnover, reporting to Project Managers and Directors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM/Engineering/Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years of construction experience.
• Proven success managing mid-sized to large projects.
• Strong ability to read drawings, specs and contract docs.
• Proven coordination of field teams and subcontractors.
• Experience with construction software and mobile field apps.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field activities to meet safety and project requirements.
• Manage execution to satisfy budgets, quality, and schedule.
• Plan and supervise subcontractors, craft personnel, vendors, and field staff.
• Lead complex construction projects across multiple phases.
• Develop short- and long-term construction plans and look-ahead schedules.
• Drive Lean Construction initiatives and constructability reviews.
• Interpret drawings and contract docs; resolve field issues.
• Partner with PMs, engineers, designers, and owners for success.
• Oversee multiple disciplines depending on project complexity.
• Manage scopes from $2M to $50M+ in direct value.
• Ensure safety and QA; mentor junior staff.
• Foster accountability and teamwork on site.
